Octahedron
Octa (short for "Octahedron" is currently a 4 piece band recording mainly in studio, which is located in the centre of Holland, in the idyllic city of Utrecht.
Core of the group are Arend Heijting and Albert Borkent, long-time friends and making tracks together for quite some years now. Later Bernie, Albert's brother joined in and latest "member" is Frank Hebly, a skilled funk musician, playing bass and drums, and a youth friend of Albert. Their aim is to create deep, funked-up psychedelic tracks with ambientesque qualities.
Styles differ from dub to trancey to pure ambient.
Expext more to hear from them, since they are working on new material at the moment, and a second album is in the making.
